KREYÒL WITH KADOH 🇭🇹
My mission
Making Kreyòl easier to speak, easier to understand, and easier to pass down.
Heyyy, it’s your Haitian cousin Kadoh! 🇭🇹💛
What started as me teaching my friends Kreyòl has grown into something much bigger.
Today, my mission with Kreyòl with Kadoh is to help people confidently communicate in Haitian Creole while staying connected to the culture that gives our language meaning.
I'm not just trying to create more people who know some Kreyòl.
I want to create Kreyòl speakers.
People who can talk to their families. People who can pass the language down to their children. People who can reconnect with their roots. And people who understand not only what we're saying — but what we actually mean.

The Mission is Already Moving

What started as me teaching my friends has grown into a classroom bigger than I ever expected.
Every day, thousands of people are learning Kreyòl with me across TikTok, Instagram, Patreon, YouTube, and the growing Kreyòl with Kadoh community.
And I don't call them followers.
I call them my students.
Because whether you watched one video and finally learned how to pronounce something correctly, used one of my phrases with your family, joined my Patreon classroom, completed a lesson, or finally understood something you've heard your whole life — you learned something.
And this classroom keeps growing every day. But now I want to take that impact even further.
The next milestone
100 Students
Reaching thousands of people through content is powerful. But I also know there's a difference between watching a Kreyòl lesson and having someone personally help you find your voice in the language.
That's why my next mission is to personally work with 100 students and help them become stronger, more confident Kreyòl speakers. Not 100 people who memorized a list of vocabulary.
100 people who can communicate.
100 people who feel more comfortable speaking to their Haitian family. 100 people who can pass more Kreyòl down to their children. 100 people reconnecting with a language they weren't taught growing up. 100 people who stop saying:
“I understand Kreyòl... I just can't speak it.”
While I'm working toward those 100 students personally, Kreyòl with Kadoh will continue teaching thousands more through our growing online classroom.
The mission is already spreading. Now I want to deepen the impact. 🇭🇹💛
Where I'm Taking Kreyòl with Kadoh
Teaching 100 students personally is one milestone.
The bigger vision is creating more places where Haitian Creole can be learned, spoken, celebrated, and passed down.
🏫 Kreyòl in Schools
I want Haitian children to see their language and culture represented in the places where they learn. I want to work directly with schools and educators to create resources that make it easier to connect with Haitian students and their families while giving Haitian children another reason to feel proud of where they come from.
📚 Kreyòl in Libraries
I want Kreyòl with Kadoh books and learning materials sitting on the shelves of schools and libraries where children, parents, educators, and entire communities can access them. Our language deserves to be documented, taught, and accessible.
🫱🏿🫲🏾 Workshops & Community Partnerships
I want to host workshops for schools, institutions, nonprofits, businesses, and organizations that serve or interact with Haitian communities. Not everyone needs to become fluent. Sometimes learning how to properly greet someone, pronounce a name, understand an expression, communicate basic information, or recognize a cultural difference can completely change an interaction.
🍲 Language Through Food & Culture
You can't separate Kreyòl from Haitian culture. I want to create cooking segments and cultural experiences where we're not only learning how to prepare Haitian food — we're learning the language, stories, traditions, memories, and conversations surrounding it. Because sometimes the best language lesson happens around the kitchen table. 🇭🇹
🇭🇹 More In-Person Experiences
I want to create more opportunities for us to get off our phones and experience Kreyòl and Haitian culture together.
Classes. Workshops. Cultural experiences. Conversations. Community events. Spaces where Haitian people — especially younger generations — are reminded that there is SO much to be proud of about being Haitian.
🧑🧑🧒 Keeping Kreyòl in the Family
Some of my students grew up hearing Kreyòl but were never taught how to speak it. Others are parents now and don't want the language to disappear with their generation. Some simply want to have a real conversation with Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, or other loved ones without needing someone else to translate. Kreyòl with Kadoh exists for those moments too. Because when we teach someone Kreyòl, we're not only teaching one person. We're giving them something they can pass down.
The KADOH DIFFERENCE
COMMUNICATION > TRANSLATION
This is at the center of everything I do. Kreyòl with Kadoh teaches communication — not just translation. Google Translate can give you words. Language-learning apps can teach you vocabulary. But communicating with Haitian people requires something more. It requires context. Nuance. Tone. Rhythm. Culture. It's knowing what Haitians actually say instead of only knowing what a sentence technically translates to. It's understanding why the same phrase can feel completely different depending on who says it and how they say it. It's knowing when something is a joke, an expression, affection, respect, shade — or a warning that you better stop playing 😂. It's understanding how Grandma can say five words and somehow those five words mean an entire paragraph.
THAT is the Kreyòl I want to teach.
Because I don't want my students to memorize 500 vocabulary words and then freeze when a Haitian actually starts talking to them.
I want them to communicate. I want them to understand their people. I want them to participate in the conversation. And I want them to feel like Kreyòl belongs to them too. Because language without culture is just translation.
Ann ale!
How You Can Support the Mission
You don't have to be learning Kreyòl yourself to believe this work matters. Every person who learns, books a lesson, purchases a resource, shares Kreyòl with Kadoh, partners with me, or contributes financially helps move this mission forward.
Your support helps me create more educational resources, develop books and learning materials, produce cultural content, host community experiences, build school programming, and bring Kreyòl education into more spaces.
There are several ways you can be part of it.
📚 Purchase Kreyòl Resources
Are you part of a school, library, nonprofit, company, institution, or organization that works with Haitian communities? Let's work together. Kreyòl with Kadoh is working toward providing workshops, cultural programming, language education, and practical communication resources for organizations that want to better connect with the Haitian communities they serve.
📲 Share the Mission
Financial support isn't the only way to help. Share a lesson. Send Kreyòl with Kadoh to someone trying to reconnect with their roots. Tell an educator about our resources. Introduce us to an organization serving Haitian families. Sometimes one share puts this mission in front of exactly the person who needs it.
This is Who I'm Building For

For the person who says:
"My parents never taught me."
For the person who says:
“I understand everything, but I can't respond.”
For the parent who says:
“I want my children to know where they come from.”
For the grandchild:
Who wants to have a deeper conversation with Grandma or Grandpa.
For the educator:
Who wants to better connect with their Haitian students.
For the organization:
Serving a Haitian community that deserves to feel understood.
For the person who simply says:
"I want to feel closer to my people."
That's who Kreyòl with Kadoh is for. 🇭🇹
100 Speakers
Is Just the Beginning 🇭🇹
Imagine more Haitian children seeing Kreyòl in their classrooms. More Kreyòl books sitting on school and library shelves. More families passing the language down. More people finally speaking to their parents and grandparents in Kreyòl. More educators equipped to communicate with Haitian students. More organizations understanding the communities they serve. More spaces where Haitian culture isn't something we have to explain away — it's something we're proud to celebrate.
That's what I'm building with Kreyòl with Kadoh.
And if you believe Kreyòl deserves to be spoken, taught, celebrated, preserved, and passed down, I invite you to help me build it. More speakers. More resources. More classrooms. More culture. More connection. 🇭🇹
Mèsi anpil for believing in Kreyòl with Kadoh.
We're not just translating Kreyòl. We're keeping people connected through it. 🇭🇹💛
